Jurong Bird park

On Saturday Dad and I went to the bird park.
I really wanted to go because I really like nature. On the way there we had to take the MRT, which was really long way, then we had to hop on a bus. On the way back we just took a taxi and was home in 20 mins.

First thing at the bird park we went to a bird flying show where we got to see lots of birds swoop over our heads and do tricks on the amphitheater stage.  Particularly noticeable in the bird show was  a bird that could speak and even sing three songs, only one of which was in English.

On the way through the hornbill enclosure, we saw a bird that had cancer somewhere on his beak. Part of his beak had to be removed and replaced with a plastic version.
As well as seeing Jaya, we saw lots of interesting birds including the horned hornbill, the Victoria crowned pigeon, and the flamingos.
Something very cool at the bird park was the blue macaw, which actually inspired the two movies- Rio and Rio 2.
At the park when we were finishing, Dad took me on the tram which gave us a tour of the park. The only problem was it was stinking hot.
Here are some photos.
